My 12yr old son got his first deer Saturday morning. a nice little 9 point He responded to the rattle bag and came in like he was king of the woods. Clean double lung shot, dropped in 30 yards. Best part is I got it on video! Now its the wait to get him back from the taxidermist.

I have never seen a kid more excited. Not sure who was shaking more, as the video I made was pretty shaky. I'd rather see him take a deer than me anytime! Going to try our luck again this weekend, After he shot this one my Dad jumped another one that was apparently bedded near my 4 wheeler. Don't think he was a shooter yet but would love to get some footage of him either way.
 
Congratulations. I know what you are talking about with the shaky video. I get more torn up about my son shooting one than when I do. Good memories.
