Sons first Bow kill was a good one

First bow kill, first bow hunt, and wasn't in the stand ten minutes. My younger son passed this buck last year as a tall 6 and we saw him during velvet, but he was out of range. My son found the first sign of blood (humbling as i walked right past it). Deer ran 70 yards and died. I was way more excited than him, because I don't think he truly realizes how rare it is to get a good buck on your first bow hunt and first bow kill. This one is headed to Odoms Taxidermy and I cannot wait to get him back to hang in the living room. When its your day, its your day. Im still on cloud nine today even though he killed it on Friday.
