My 16 year old took this nice 2.5 year old 7 point the other day. It was his 3rd bow kill and his first buck with a bow. He was at the farm with my father (different stands) and called me to let me know how upset he was with himself because he had just shot over the back of a buck at 25 yards. Admitted he had buck fever ( I'm sure we've all been there many times before). As we were talking on the phone he told me he and the 2 other bucks were coming back through. He sat the phone down on the stand with me still on the line. I heard a few birds chirping then him making a bleet sound and then I heard him let it fly!!!! The commotion and heavy breathing and inaudible speaking let me know he'd hit his mark!!! 35 yard bow kill on your first buck. To say I'm proud is an understatement!!!! Looking forward to making some snack sticks and steaks out of this one very soon!!! Congrats son!!!!!
