He waited until time to get down this morning but got it done. I was supposed to be there around 10 to pick him up. Deer had been a no show so far this morning. He text me at 10:03 saying deer coming as I was nearly there and gonna drive to his stand to pick him up. I pulled over and waited. He called me about 10 mins later and said I've killed one and come get me. He made a perfect 32 yard shot to get the season rolling.

I was able to walk to where she fell and acorns were falling around everywhere. It's the first time I've been in the woods this year but didn't walk far.

Heck yea, that's the way to start off season and I bet it felt good to even just get out there in the woods to celebrate with your boy.
Yes it did. I'm able to walk pretty decent but still with a limp. He saw it fall but made him blood trail it. I didn't walk far or stay long but felt good to be out. I've got to get a little better to be able to do some walking at Yuchi in a few weeks but think I'll be able to.
