Something is going on

Something crazy is going on at my place. My overall pictures have gone down. Also not seeing as many in the woods. But what is strange is I am seeing about the same or more Bucks, but my doe pictures have just about stopped. One thing I have noticed is I don't have many acorns. I talked to a friend who isn't that far from me and he has a ton of acorns. Now to be fair the place was selectively logged 3 years ago so overall I don't have as many oaks as there used to be. But what Oaks I do have, have a sorry crop of acorns. I have my food plots and I know (I HOPE) they will come back once the acorns start running low, but if that is why the does left, why didn't the bucks? Are bucks just that much more leery of travel? Scary part is without does, the rut will be horrible on my place!

If the bucks stay there and you only have a few does, the rut should be better cause the bucks will fight more over the does

I think the acorns may have something to do with it. I finally hunted the farm behind my land. Been trying to stay out and there were acorns raining everywhere. Red's white's you name it. Needless to say, deer movement was down. I did see two spikes, but other than that, nothing in the deer dept. I think they are not moving much on account of the over abundance of food.
