This is the most mature buck I've caught on camera in the last 3 years. He's got my blood pumping and I'm really hoping to get a crack at him.

Any thoughts on score/age?

Most recent pic is from the 22nd. I still have a few thousand picture to browse through. Hoping to see what he looks like out of velvet soon...

Mature for sure (4.5+) and low to mid 140s gross. In the 3rd and 4th pic, he looks 5.5+, which would not surprise me at all. Great buck, best of luck with him.

Sweet looking buck and like that water hole, crop field woods location

It was just a flat spot on the edge of the field where I put salt blocks. They've wore it out and it holds water when it rains. It's a great little spot. Unfortunately when they harvest the corn it changes up that area a lot. It will be wide open right there and the mature bucks won't visit.

Had a couple other decent bucks also. They don't measure up to the first one, but I'd have a hard time letting either walk during bow season. It's so nice to finally see bucks that aren't real young.

Not sure, but he's mature and a trophy regardless what he is. Not sure where you are in Lebanon, but maybe he'll range shift my way. :D

I was thinking the same thing Andy. It's a good deer.

128, 3 1/2

Im no expert at scoring, and velvet always throws me off. I won't argue with you on that.

On age... no way he's 3 1/2. (Assuming were looking at the 10pt up top)

4.5 and i think he'll be low 140's. I think he'll lack mass that will keep him in the low 140's. However his beams and tine will make up. I hope you get him.

On another note i think he'd add mass at 5.5 and add beam and tine length jumping him in the 150's next yr. No way i would pass him to try and see though!!

Is that a spring, a pond, or a huge salt lick?

What area of Henry County are you hunting?
