Looked to me like we had a deal worked out at 3:05EST. I guess not. I do not find this as a proper way to do business to sell out from under me, but maybe I'm in the wrong and shouldn't be upset. Moving on.IMG_0805.webp

Since you want to take this public- you never confirmed. You never asked me to hold the gun for you. You made an offer then say you're not sure if you can meet if I'm unable to come to Knoxville. You didn't reply to my texts from this morning and text this evening- still not confirming the deal. "Let me see what I can do" isn't a deal.

You never confirmed. My offer was for $500 if you'd be willing to arrange a meeting.

See the time stamp from dbrown3. He confirmed a time and price (same as your offer I might add) and I marked it sold pending pickup. Within 10 minutes from his "back off" post. Had you confirmed your willingness/ability to pick up the item- said you'd take it, I'd have done the same for you. You didn't even say "let me see what I can do" for 7 hours after yes/no maybe I can pick it up. "Not sure when I can come over there" is a pretty lousy phrase if you believe to have just committed to spending $500. You, like most in society, have fallen prey to the victimhood trap. Own it. You never confirmed. I've had countless dealings on this site and many will attest to my character. Onward.

It's not like you missed out on anything, the triggers on those rifles is terrible, typically makes them pretty inaccurate IMO.

If you feel like you treated a fellow member here with all due respect to a deal, then I'll get unvictimized like most of the rest of us and own it. We were clearly trying to work out a meet. Sorry I had to work and couldn't text you back any sooner than a few hours and issue the magic words, but I consider it a lack of respect to not even let me know that my offer and your acceptance of said offer was null and void without even a first right of refusal. I even said thanks for the patience and I would see what I can do in regards to meeting up. I would not have conducted business that way, but that's just me I guess. Obviously we are both standing our ground. I'm burying it. No more comments on my side.

The unofficial jury has deliberated….

There was no "I'll take it" or "Back off Suckas" from @shooterjr

@Dbrown3 came in like a boss and dropped the BOS on the deal. Showed up with cash. Case closed.

Unofficial jury has declared this an ethical sale by @Appalachian American

- Judge Jon 😂

You're not asking, and I'm not the authority here….just a guy that's done a couple hundred deals on here (ish)

A simple "Back off Suckas" or "I'll take it" lets the seller and all of us all know it's a done deal. Then y'all can work out the meet up. If you can't, then it's the sellers discretion if he wants to relist it.

When there's "yes and no" and "let me see what I can do", that's still not a done deal.
My unsolicited $.02

I yield back my time

Neither one of you would have even gotten close to this if several members wanted well before you even commented.

Got to seal the deal brothers or people get butt hurt.

Plus always stamp sold once a deal is done.
( just for you Jon)

I don't have a dog in this hunt but @Appalachian American is a good dude. I personally don't see anything wrong as there wasn't a back off suckas or I'll take it. Just my $.02.

My only beef is that he needs to send these deals to his neighbors first for first right of refusal before publicly listing. Lol.

Are you butt hurt my friend ? 😂

Ok. I want to apologize to Appalachian American and the forum for the drama. It was unnecessary and the "snooze you lose" comes to play against me. No room for sour grapes on this forum, so again, apologies to all, especially Appalachian American.
Well done 👆

Who would've thought?…
- men didn't communicate effectively
- more than one guy was interested in a firearm
- then a bunch of 12 year-old hypocrites jump in to " fix the situation"

😂😂😂

Y'all are growing up right before our eyes 👍😂😂

No hard feelings. Sorry again for exactly how things worked out.

Mighty nice of you to admit that brother.
