Soil Test

When is the best time to do your soil test? I need to get lime down for my fall plots but I think it is too wet to get a sample b/c of all the rain/snow we've had! Can you take a soil sample that is wet or should I wait a few weeks and hope everything dries up a bit?

I would let it dry out some,The sooner you can get your test the better,That way your lime and stuff have ample time to get in the soil good.Good Luck
