I have been granted permission to plant two food plots on two diffrent properties I hunt in middle Tn this year. I am very excited about it ya'll. One tract is in Williamson county, the other is in Rutherford county(sleeper county for trophy caliber bucks in my opinion). Before I make a decision on what I will be planting I will be taking soil samples.If the soil needs improvment I will add what is lacking before I plant. My question is, Can I take a soil sample at any time of the year. Will the season, wheather conditions effect accuracy of the test results?
