im doing a 1/4 to a 1/2 acre foodplot. i did a ph test and it shows a 6.0. i was told that it needs to be 6.5 to 7. i have lime but dont know how much to use. any info will help thanks Aaron

What kind of soil do you have? Also what kind of lime? But basically if you put 50lbs per 1,000 sq ft you will raise your ph .5 in established ph areas.

thanks for the info!!!
it is a small foodplot, just trying it for the first time. i put 300lbs of lime for 6000 square foot.

potash is 1 to a 2
nitrogen is 0 to a 1
phosphorus is a 3
ph is 6.0
i used the rapitest from the luster leaf co.
so does anyone know how this stuff can be adjusted? or will the lime help to?

If you got your lime down you will be fine! Then after your plants start to grow you will fertilize and that will help with the rest. Good luck!
