Tried to hire Zach Smith from OSU last year. op:

I read the text messages between Urban and Smith . Smith is telling his boss in a text message that he was offered the job. Rather that was the truth of not we will never know. I know when I was negotiating pay raises/promotions with my bosses I was never completely honest about my job offers and rates of pay. There MAY be some of that going on here.

Saban denies that he ever offered the job to him. Says they looked at him and after doing a check on him they passed on him.

Either way Smith never made his way to ALABAMA...so its all nothing for nothing.
