August 26th... Connor vs Floyd who ya got????

Floyd is a heavy favorite at -1100 and Connor is +700

If Floyd can stand Connor's rush at first and carry it to 8+ rounds he will (should) win. But I am gonna say Connor KO's him within 3 rounds.

I have been seeing this but haven't dug into it much.

So, is it going to be a boxing match or an MMA match?
 
Boxing.... I think they are gonna use a little smaller glove (which hurts Floyd) bcse he hides behind the 10oz glove as a shield. Plus not as much padding (he breaks his hands a lot!!) but other than that it's all boxing rules and regs.
 
If it was MMA Connor would choke him out or beat him within 2 minutes!

For that much money I'd fight them both at the same time. I could always trip leaving my corner at the first round and knock myself out, lol.

Maybe... I heard they was thinking about using 8's but u are probably right. Lefty's gives Floyd a hard time. Plus he has never fought someone as big as Connor and as strong as him. Could be a interesting fight.

Agreed. Plus I think the angles used in striking in mma might give Floyd a hard time, till he figures it out.

Connor is a great Boxer in the MMA, but Floyd is one of the best Boxers ever, and fast. I bet Connor doesn't land a single punch in the first 3 rounds. He may not land a dozen in the whole fight. As much as I hate the guy Mayweather will win easily.

He may land a body blow, but no way he lands an unblocked headshot in the first 3 rounds.
 
I think Conner has a good shot at pulling this off. He's a world class fighter. He's had some training as a boxer. And now he has 2 months to train specifically as a boxer. And I'm sure he will get a premier trainer.

EDIT: I just read that he's been training since February.

Plus I would say he has been training already for this fight. They knew it was gonna happen. I think he wins also

Guys keep saying Connor has trained for months that's cool and did some boxing years ago cool cool.

Floyd has made really really good Boxers who have trained there entire LIFES look silly who have been boxing there entire lifes look silly. If not a single one of them can KO Floyd I don't think Connor is going to.

Think it will go the full 12 and Floyd wins
 
I think if Conner could use his feet this thing would be over before the bell got done ringing. In a boxing match I'm guessing Floyd beats the breaks of him and ends Conner's boxing career by the 3rd round. I think Conners instinct to kick and that hesitation when he remembers he can't will be his downfall.

It only takes one punch from Connor to stun Floyd.... Then game on. Like I said Floyd has NEVER fought anyone with the POWER of Connor

That is absolutely true, but he's 49-0 with 26 knock outs against boxers at least as skilled as McGregor that only needed to land one blow to get the game on. Seriously, McGregor doesn't stand a chance. Just because he is an elite MMA fighter doesn't make him an elite boxer. The best Hockey player in the world wouldn't stand a chance wining an Olympic medal in figure skating either. (even if they have been practicing since February) :roll:

Yes it only takes a single hit & it's game over.. I just think if the other 49 dudes didn't get that one big hit to game over Floyd then Connor Probaby won't eighter.

I do hope Connor wins I just don't see it.

Be bad if in the heat of the fight Connor throws & hits with a nasty head kick or something.

Nahhhh it isn't a smart bet from a statistical standpoint. Risking 700 to win 100...you won't find much money at all on Mayweather, but it isn't because people don't think he will win. On the other hand there will be a lot of money on Connor because you don't have to risk much for the potential of a big payday. That is why the Lottery is so popular virtually anyone will risk 3 dollars for the potential of winning millions. If Lottery tickets were 100 dollars and the payout was only 700 bucks no one would play. (not to mention my wife would murder me if I had to pay someone 700 dollars) :)

However, I'd be willing to make some sort of friendly Tndeer bet. Tagline or something?
