I've got a pile of deer on the wall but no sneaks. I want one because I don't have one. I've only saw a few that I've really liked. My buddy has an offset sneak that I love but the buck was a brute body and just looked awesome. I've got a nice 8 ( big rut neck and good mass) at the taxi now that when I shot him he was sneaking and I usually mount them the way I first see them. If y'all don't care could y'all post some of your sneak mounts up and opinions of what you like or don't about them. I don't want to regret my decision on my trophy.

IMO full sneak looks weird to me and puts the nose way out into the room, so hang it high. Ear position plays a big role in how it looks. Sticking straight out like Dumbo doesn't look good. Straight back like a whipped dog doesn't look good. Slanted back in a natural looking way is what I like best. I also like semi sneak with slight head turn.

The one on the right is a Ben Mears sneak. I think it shows off the body size better than some other poses might. Low middle is an extreme sneak, wanted something different on that one. Being low on the wall in that pose turned out well.

This, exactly!

Semi sneak is my favorite of all. I personally regret my full sneak pose

Sorry I know this isn't a great picture but I'd have to move a couple deer to get a better picture....this is a semi - sneak. This is not a huge buck but he was special and one of the prettiest bucks I've killed . He's at the end of a hallway now and to get a better picture I'd have to move him , sorry not happening 😁

I'm not a fan of the sneak pose. However, @TRIGGER has the only one I like and think it's because the body and rack size fit. Maybe he'll post a pic of it. Of course the pic may not do it justice.

Kind of what I usually try to go with, the turn and pose closest to what the deer was when I shot it.

I have one aggressive posturing. When I shot him he was posturing about to fight a much smaller 8 point. Don't remember the name of the form, but it came out as I expected. It does kind of make him look smaller though.

I tell anyone if they are undecided or don't know about forms and mounts that a semi sneak is the best to go with. Can't go wrong with semi sneak on any deer.
Agree completely. But the buck I killed this year is going on a full sneak form. Mainly because he's going to go on a spot on the wall where roof angle comes down right over the mount, so the vertical space was limited.
