Be safe out there guys! My buddy killed about a 3.5 - 4 foot rattlesnake today on our lease while doing some mowing. Just a reminder when you are out stomping through the woods and brush.

My buddy was on his knees flush cutting a stump for a road , looked up and was face to face with a rattler last Friday. It's no longer with us.

Saw a nice rattler today working on the lease, first I've seen this year.

I always try to keep an eye on the ground. Mushrooms, shed antlers, snakes, deer and turkey tracks among other things keep me looking all the time. I don't kill rattlesnakes though. Not in a long time. Never seen one that was even close to aggressive.
