Wife and I have to go to Smyrna, TN next weekend. She's got a Saturday work meeting, and I have 3/4 day to burn till she finishes up.

Looking for some small lakes, with or with out boat access, campground area's ect..ect.. just to kill a day fishing. Any idea's on what would be close to Smyrna?
 
Percy Priest is right in Smyrna...Good Fishing and you can have a boat...I would hit that up if I were you...

Ohh... and any tips on where to find the bass too... Never fished it before but I'm betting it's a pretty clear lake, and if the bass are anything like the one's on this side of town... there suspended in 8-10ft off ledges, and points.... hammering dropshot's with Yum Dingers

But we have mud-hole lakes over here and the surface temp has been 83-85*'s




Any trout fishing near by?
