Brisket has been on the smoker since 8 Am. Rubbed with a modified Texas magic rub and slapped it over some cherry wood smoke. Looks beautiful.

Wife has roasted Garlic cheese grits in the oven and a batch of Bacon Cheddar Scones ready to go in the oven.

Cold beer in the fridge.

Man its gonna be a great day! :grin:
 
Sounds good. I am in East Tn and it might take me a little while to get there.I have some ribs on the grill, so I'll just bring them with me. :grin:
 
Brisket was good. Should have wrapped it in foil an hour earlier but I was running the tractor and lost track of time. Was just a tad drier than I like it.

The bacon/cheese scones were awesome. Wife added some roasted garlic/sun dried tomato butter to the top. Mmmmmmmm.

The Roasted garlic cheese grits were really good too!
