In short I just received my CVA Apex barrel back from a slufoot conversion. WGK has been a super outlet for my questions. Now I am almost ready to shoot. I have most items for shooting but lack powder & some scales to weigh the powder. WGK told me what to get but I have lost my notes. Figured I would ask you guys what you use. Thanks!!!
 
Pretty much any beam type reloading scale will work. Just depends on how much you want to spend on one.

And I'll suggest H4198 for powder, few different types will work though.

X2 on what he said. I do knurl the Barnes a little.



Exact load as mentioned above. These results for me are at 100 yards. 195's are the top 2 shots. Bottom 2 are the 200gr SST's. I believe the 1 on the right was a barnes as well, but I yanked the trigger on that one :) Temp was in the 30's that day. I will be using the barnes during MZL this year.
 
Bigasports a wool was under the sabot really helped tightened up my groups. And by all means knurl the bullet.

Yep.

Also gives the bullet the ability to "grab" the sabot to avoid the bullet spinning faster than the sabot or vice-versa ( can't remember) and "drilling" it.

I have not been able to find any H4198. I can get my hands on some Accurate 5744.
What do I do?
 
Yes IMR4198 will work. That's what I have been shooting. It just doesn't measure as easy as H.
