Check with Hankins precision gun parts, that's were I got mine. I like the Cva scout break down smokeless. I killed at 250 this year with mine.

This is gonna be a little outside of what you said your budget is but look up landcannon.com/muzco smokeless muzzleloaders. His names Scott Ludick out of Lafayette, TN. He built me one last yr and me and my wife have both killed one with it this yr. Incredible weapons. He's got a confirmed kill at 900 yds with one of his guns, along with numerous others in the 400-500 range. I will post a pic of the one he built for me. His guns are well worth the money.

I plan to sell one that I built a few years ago. The gun is very accurate. It is a Savage stainless action, 28" Rock Creek cut rifled 40 caliber barrel in a 13.2 twist, 2 muzzle brakes, pillar bedded in a Boys stock, Hankins ignition system and Hankins DI ignition system as well. Comes with both smooth form and full form dies.
$1750 without scope
$2250 with Vortex Viper 6-24×50 scope with lighted reticle.
