Smokeless muzzleloader cleaning

Was just curious as to how often you guys clean your smokeless builds with a 209 plug ? Also how long is it safe to leave one loaded during the season or do I need to reload daily ? Thanks for the help

You might reseat your bullet every morning, but you can leave it loaded for 20 years if you'd like. Just keep it dry if you do

Haven't cleaned my sml's in a couple years. I leave them loaded from season to season and fire one shot to check zero like I did yesterday. It's good to clean the plug flame channel and check the ventliner or bushing for wear every 25 shots. If hunting in rain, put a finger off a rubber glove on the muzzle immediately after loading.

Same here, just shot mine from last season.
