I know this is probably the wrong forum. But does anyone know of anyone around Lebanon that does smokeless conversion? Thanks

Doubtful....you just need to research and then pick one. It's all handled thru the mail.

Levi Reed at LRCustominc.com. Does a great job with RUM conversions.

I'd like to know as well. May have to ship it to someone to do it. I'm thinking about going the 45-70 route
If you're hunting mostly woods, I would definitely go the 45/70 route. They will still shoot a good distance as well. My brother in law had a Savage but switched to a 45/70 conversion after seeing how light and easy to maneuver that mine was.

Yep, mostly all close range thick hunting. Every once in a while, there will be a 200 yard shot, but very seldom.
