Smoked Trout

Any you guys ever smoke trout? I have not usually fry it (added) or grill it in foil

I've never smoked trout, but I've cured & cold-smoked some steelhead salmon. It's pretty easy to do, especially if you have two filets to cure together.

Smoked trout can be very good. I know a place that has a fantastic smoked trout dip. Google it and you will find preparation and smoking instructions and lots of recipes.

I will be brining and hot smoking some salmon this weekend. I can't get enough of it.

smoked quite a few. we do it whole with head on. very good
