First try at doing this. Been intrigued for some time to try one. Did a Philly Cheese Steak Fattie with moderate success. Only one blowout and I probably caused that with the temp probe.
1 lb of Jimmy Dean Sausage, your choice
1/2 lb Steak
1 lb of Bacon
White Onion
Bell Pepper
American Cheese
Provolone Cheese
Flatten sausage in a 1 gal ziploc bag till it reaches all edges of the baggie. Cook steak, onions and bell pepper to taste and reserve. Cut along side edges of baggie and fold back. Layer ingredients and cheese on top of sausage. Using the Ziploc roll up carefully. I chose to weave the bacon around the Fattie but you can just wrap it as you see fit. Using a piece of cling wrap, wrap up Fattie. Holding the ends of the cling wrap, roll it to help seal the ends and to give it a uniform shape. Cook at 275 deg. till internal temp reaches 160 deg.
Out of 10....I give it an 8. Bound to be good on a biscuit!
