Hunt in jackson and smith. rubs and scrapes everywhere. Shot a nice 7 sat. morn. not seen any chasing at all. Did hit a estrous can this evening had a buck grunt back but never showed.
 
lots of rubs and scrapes and the 8 i killed came in smelling estrus i had hanging up its getting closer to getting right!
 
i have seen lots of small scrapes been finding big and lots of rubs since late bow..all the does i hve seen still have their fawns only bucks i have seen chasing and putting on a show is small yearling bucks

Killed a 8point Saturday morning at 9:30 am. He lame in at a quick trot and circled my blind at 10-12 yards with his neck stretched out. I had a scent wick out beside my bind to cover my scent a little bit and he came in lookin for the scent. Instead he found a blast of white smoke! His tarsals were a little wet but not hardly dark enough yet. Should be about right later in the weekend and next week.
