Small food plot....Biologic-Full draw / greenpatch

Ok, I've got a place I'm going to look at this weekend for a 2 yr lease.

I'm looking at making a very small 1 acre food plot.

Never done or have a CLUE on food plots

The Biologic full draw and green patch both have great reviews.

My plan:
1. Rake/till the acre
2. Plant both the full draw and greenpatch
3. Put plot protector around acre (most reviews said the deer liked it so much it could'nt mature and used the plot protector and it worked)
4. Sit back and wait for deer to come?


Is it really THAT easy?? Feel like I'm missing some BIG things but don't have a CLUE. Do I need to get soil samples? If so HOW?

Soil Sample should be your first step. If you go to your local county ag extension office they can give you a box and tell you how to do it.
