Anybody ever try it? Bought a 5lb bag to experiment with. Would like to hear some experience if yall have any.
Is that basically the same plant as Whitetail Institute's "Extreme"? I tried to look it up and didn't find a clear answer but I think it is. If so, it produced one of the best food plots I've ever seen some years back on a lease I was in.

I don't know??? I was researching drought tolerant seed and it popped up as a perennial that's supposedly both very drought resistant and deer favorable. Never heard of it before so bought a small bag to try. Your report sounds promising!

Read up on it a time or two but never pulled the trigger and planted it. Supposedly, it's a great range plant in the High Plains region.

I tried it once. Made a beautiful plot because nothing ate it

That's why I bought a small bag. I figured if it were awesome then it wouldn't be so obscure. But at this point with this drought I'm willing to try weird stuff. If it pops up at all then something will be green and the deer either eat it or at least have something to look at that isn't brown.
