I have an 870 Remington and am thinking about buying a slug barrel for it..........any suggestions on where to buy....price..do's and don'ts......etc.

get 1 with a cantilever scope mount made by hastings,that way you can put a scope on & leave it.its really painfull to sight 1 in with 3" hv sabots :eek: mike243
 
Call me crazy...but I actually bought a used Mossberg manufactured slug barrel for an 870 to hunt in IL with a few years ago. Ugly as homemade sin, but shot sweet groups!

Research on the net at the time led me to others with similar experience...don't dismiss it if it is not a Hastings...
