Slow hickory smoked butts

These two 8lb butts took from 9pm last night until 5:30 this afternoon. I'm not real good at math but that's over 20hr. Was planning to eat them tonight while watching the UGA vs tOSU game, but alas, gotta rest while wrapped in the cooler for another 4hr before I pull them tonight at around 9:30. They're gonna be G-U-D, though.

Look good. Usually run mine at 225(masterbilt electric) and start early enough in the morning that I am done before bedtime.

Looks great from here, I bought a 5 finger shredder I use on my drill, love how it shreds stuff, easier to portion out sandwich's , I have shredded just as soon as I pulled and was great, never needed a rest though that can help brisket at times, Love my pellet smoker for long cooks as I aint as young as I once was lol. adding fuel hourly is rough
