Anyone had any luck finding some skipjack or gizzards. Seems like the skipjack have disappeared. Haven't caught but one all year below dam/dams

I watch a guy on YouTube that catches them all the time below center hill dam.
depends on what lake you are in I guess... all I can say is around here there are a ton of them.
Not really sure where Flat Rock is in Alabama but below Wheeler dam they are usually plentiful. Lots of catfishermen go there just to load up on skippys.
They are catching plenty below Chickamauga.

used to catch the whiz out of them at Kingston steam plant...haven't been back since the spill though.
