SKFOOTER - You asked about putting a ground blind atop a platform. Here are some pix of what I have done.
As I mentioned before I am building a shooting house, but didn't have time to finish it for this season; so I decided to use the floor of the shooting house as a platform for a ground blind for one season. This blind is a spring steel model. It has an anchor loop at each corner as well as a tie down at each corner. I used screw hooks for the anchor loops and screw eyes for the tie downs. The ladder is the top section of an old ladder stand.
If you use a hub-style pop-up, it will probably have 8 anchor loops and 4 tie downs. The tie downs attach at the center of the hubs, so the configuration and number of screw hooks/eyes will have to be adjusted for that type of blind.
