I've taken 2 bucks out of the same tree stand on back to back years and seen more than that. They both scored between 125 and 130. The deal is that possibly they both had the same genetic disposition for size and weight. They both only weighed in at 140 field dressed pounds although they were both mature deer. A 125"+ rack sometimes looks bigger in comparison to a shorter, stockier body than on a larger buck and can really fool you.
