Sitting in truck blind

Sitting at the gate at one of the farms I haven't hunted this year. Truck blind is comfortable but not my idea way of hunting. Just wanted to get out for a while. Something other than his cows may cross the field. I can't open gate to get to my shooting house on the other side of the farm due to the slight hill it's on.

Why, he did not mention the vehicle running and in motion. Given the circumstances above, he is within the law. And the last statement, he is wheelchair bound so sometimes elevation can be a pain. Don't knock a man for wanting to hunt and doing what is takes to make that happen.

Deer dont spook off vehicles parked in fields on my farms. They are used to us checking and working cows, cutting hay, etc. I've had some great hunts from the bed of my pickup. Now walk away from the vehicle and it's a totally different story!

I have a friend who was helping the land owner with putting roofing on a shed there Monday and saw 8-10 deer in the field. Today I saw nothing but cows. lol.

I can see where my part is confusing to those who are unaware of my situation. I'm a paraplegic and small obstacles becomes very difficult for me to overcome/ get around in my wheelchair. The gate post is up off of the road bed which prevents me from opening it. I sometimes refer to sitting in my truck as a "truck blind". I didn't take your post as anything other than; "what the heck is he talking about?" When my wife or stalkhunter don't want to hear my whining, I get on here. Members on here have listened to my rants for years. This morning I'm sitting on a cut corn field hoping a buck will come in for a mid day snack

I admire your drive to still get out there. I broke all 5 metatarsals in my foot 2 years ago and that made it rough enough for me. Where there is a will there is a way! Good luck to you this season.
