Does anyone know if the proposal to allow single shot rifles 35 cal or bigger to be used during muzzeloader season will be voted on during the May TWRA meeting? What day is the May meeting?

What I gathered from watching the March meeting was the TWF survey indicated that over 90% was for the change. There were mixed opinions with the Commissioners on the change. Some are for it, others are not. The Commission will be discussing it more at this months meeting here in a few days. It was mentioned that they wanted to make the decision on it by season setting since it will be another 2 years before they set hunting seasons again.
Hopefully they will let it pass. I would much rather use even a .357 Magnum or a .44 Magnum verses a muzzleloader, since I don't own a smokeless muzzleloader.
