I am new to the metal detecting thing and don't know much about what I find...I have found a few lead pieces that I know is lead but today I found something that I'm not sure what is

Is it possible to find silver. . What i have is a bottle cap sized piece that is very hard and silver colored. . . Could be lead or something else. .

Any ideas?

Does your detector have a target ID readout? Silver is about the most conductive thing you will find in the ground and should read higher than any other metal of the same size.
