Time to start signing up for the West Tn. chapter NWTF plot seed. Prices are estimated but will be close to price stated. RR corn, 50lb app. $28.00 a bag, limit 5 bags per person. We have a five bean blend, not certified RR, but always usually turn out to be, 50lb bag, app. $10.00 a bag. New this year, seed wheat, 50lb bag, app, $7.00 a bag. The corn will be available for pick up by April 1st, beans also about that time. The wheat will be mid summer. A GREAT deal for anyone wanting seed for wildlife. I would jump on it again but never got to plant the seeds I got last year due to flooding keeping me out of the fields until August 24. Planning on sewing them this year if the rain will hold off. Great price on RR seed.

No, only certain chapters take part in the seed drive.

I had already looked on the website and found contact but I've been looking for the info on the seed program. The site didn't mention anything abt the seed. The only people I've ever met around this area seems to have had a connection to obtain a large portion of it. I'd want to join in an area that has the seed program even if it's a ways away.

We are waiting on the soybeans to come in so we can get all the seed out at one time. I emailed NWTF and am waiting on an answer. Should be any day now.

Another option is to join a Quail Forever chapter if you are a quail hunter. You can order seed in the fall for spring delivery. This year RR corn,milo and soybeans are $9 a bag to pay for shipping. Seed is not guaranteed because they are giving away year old seed that seed companies have donated.

For you that signed up, the RR corn will be given out Monday April 21st, at 115 Bonwood drive in S. Jackson. The corn is all we have received, but we need to go ahead and get it out, beans will be given when we receive them. For info call Perry Jeter 731 616 2354 Tks
