been looking at these to try in my 308 using RL15 or Varget, anyone have any reviews or thoughts on them. I am not sure if i am going to try the 150 or 165's yet but just looking for first hand use with accuracy or on deer.

I use to load the BTSP's for my .270 and was always very pleased with them ! Can't help much on the .308. But, my guess is that you would probably not be disappointed !

if your rifle is a short action the 165 BGBTHP will alow you to load mag length and reach rifilings ,,and dont let the HP scare you,as all the GKBTHP bullets in every caliber are the best bullets they make for deer sized game,it expands really well but the jacket is thicker at the base and holds together pretty well,

you would have to shoot a lot over 300 yards for the GKSBT to tell the difference in trajectory of the lower BC..

I shoot the 150 grn. game king soft points in my .308 and 30-06. They are about as good as it gets for deer. My .308 likes the varget and the 06 likes IMR4895.
