Sierra has come out with a new ballistic app in case someone wants to try it. I just saw this tonight and thought I would post the link. I downloaded it but have yet to try it. I use Shooter, StrelokPro, and JBM with great results. Anyway, here is the link..

I used to use the printed info and as chrono, powders, and bullets have all changed we recently measured off 200 yards and checked drop for a few of our rifles, all zeroed at 100 in the 10-ring.

No big surprises; books are generally pretty conservative and our FPS readings match up well with the chrono. That is, until we move charge levels to slightly before bolt lift issues. So the application will be installed and tested, should be interesting.

Just put the data in on this app on one rifle and a couple different bullets. It lined up nicely with my Shooter App which I have found to be very accurate. I believe a little tweaking and it will be very close. Will have to learn the operation of it but I believe it will be a good App. Just have to remember " Garbage In Garbage Out " and hopefully it will give a good firing solution. Best part is it's free..
