Side x side gas mileage

I have been in mountains a few days and seen several SxS on the roads. Lot of places rent them as well.. Saw several in Cades Cove today. I know some of them make the loop multiple times.
I was curious how far does one go on a tank of gas?

When I was up here last month.guy at our condo from GA brought his on a trailer and just used it to ride everywhere they went for the week.

I have a Polaris Ranger 500. I've never calculated the mileage on it but the last time I put gas in mine was in January. I put 5 gallons in it then, and it still shows 2 bars on the fuel gage. We use it every single day.

They go a long dang ways! I can fill mine up and ride it 20-25 miles and not drop one bar on guage. And a full tank is probably like 10 bars

We've been thinking about getting one ourselves for riding in the national forest. Have to make it street legal of course.

As others have said a long way. I have a Honda Talon and if we ride all day it might burn 1/4 tank give or take.

Thanks for the replies. I had no idea. You see them driving all throughout the National Park. Have been thinking of renting one up here one day.

My Ranger XP1000 gets right at 120 miles to a tank. Thats how far it got when a friend ran it out on it's first tank of gas.

My ATV seems like it guzzles fuel compared to a sxs.
