Has anyone ever had a dog that had an upper digestive infection caused by chewing wood that is in their pen?

infection?? how does wood cause an infection other than a puncture wound?

I dont know that why I asked. Dont know how he got sick.

My dog died from eating a small paneling nail.

I guess he is so bored he just chews on everything. He is always in his pen and up off the ground, so the wood is all we can think of.

Tell me more about the symptoms, age of the dog, vaccination status etc... and i will see if I can help you out.

Could be pancreatitis. Caused by dietary changes not chewing wood. Symptoms are extreme sickness, diarhea, vomitting, dehydration, and lethargicness. I almost lost one of my champions last year. 4 days later she was fine.

He is 8 months old and was throwing up and wouldnt eat and almost died. He has had all of his shots. He finally ate. Fried fish of all things.

Did you recently change his food a day or 2 before this hit?

No its still the same.
