That's about the smallest group you can squeeze from a .264 bullet. Very impressive indeed! :)

I have know idea what load that is. He had some loaded rounds at his house someone had give him and he shot them through it to see how it was gonna shoot. I have stocked up on h4350 and berger 130gr vld target. I also have some vihtavuori n550 I am gonna try out.

Looks great! Lapua 123 Scenar pushed with 37.7 gr of Varget is a great load to!

We have tinkered with RL 15,17 H4350, and even Ramshot before. Would love to get my hands on some VLD 130s but they are so dang hard to find, that was our main reason for shooting the Scenars. Congrats on a beautiful gun!

Mahoney's in johnson city has a good selection of berger bullets. I found 3 boxes with the same lot number so I grabbed them. I'll probably experiment with the 140 vld and the 123gr scenar also.

Well I finally got to load and shoot my rifle this weekend 100 rds later I found the magic number. I'm shooting 130 gr berger vld and h4350. It likes 39.9gr h4350 2720 fps.

once I found the right load I then played with length. I loaded several different from .010" jammed, touching lands, 0.010 jump 0.020 jump 0.030 jump and 0.040" jump. The winner was 0.010" jump.

I shot a group at 500yd just to see. I didn't get around to shooting paper to actually see group size but you can get an idea from the pic.

I am gonna try some vihtavuori and some 140gr AR Hybrid bergers if I can find them.

Pretty quite with muffs on lol. I've not tried it without hearing protection. My AR30 338 lapua taught me a lesson on that. My ears rang for 3 days after one shot without muffs.

I got to stretch it's legs out today. Shot 848yds and it done very well considering the crazy wind. 24moa from 100yd zero
