Shrimp prices are skyrocketing to all-time highs, amid a disease that's plaguing the three largest prawn producers: Thailand, China and Vietnam. White shrimp prices are nearing $6 a pound, up 56% from a year ago, according to an Urner Barry index.

...glad I stocked up...but I'll pass on the ones from Thailand, China and Vietnam anyway.

If you spent any time in Vietnam you would absolutely never ever ever eat anything from there. I have seen them drop a load right in the rice paddy, like it was no big deal. You can say they've changed. Yeah. Keep on believing that.
