Shrimp Creole

My Grandmother(Nana) used to make it all the time. This is my first attempt. I just read a bunch of recipes online and made up my own.

uhhhhh, could be just me, but you are using the wrong size shrimp(this is a question)?

Yea, I just used what I had in the freezer. Shrimp are ridiculously expensive in Tennessee. It turned out great, but I really wish I had my Nana's recipe.

You have a favorite rice?

You use a cooker or just a regular sauce pan? (we have both. I do not like the cookers)

You cook more rice than you need and then save it? (I toss leftovers this makes me enemy of state)

I have Shrimp stock, so I used that instead of water.

Shrimp Creole is almost as much about the tomatoes as it is the shrimp.

Emeril is pretty entertaining.
Probably one of the better celebrity chefs.

I love shrimp Creole. And interestingly enough, it's named for the Creole tomato, not for the style of food it's called. New Orleans has a Creole tomato festival every June, and it's hard to describe how good that variety is.
