Boil bag
bottle(s) hot sauce

Have hot sauce for after it is done cooking and cocktail sauce and dry shake.

Any other suggestions???

I'd be real interested to hear how you do your boil, from ingredient measures to cooking and serving. We've got a bunch of high schoolers going on a summer mission project trip to NOLA this July, and I'd love to do a fundraiser meal that ties in to our destination a bit.

ingredient measures except for seasoning really does not matter

we use the larger mushrooms because they shrink so much

smallest red new potatoes that you can find in store, maximum 2 bites per potato or cut them in half

your corn on cob will get red hot with seasoning if you over season the whole pot

squeeze in some fresh lemons and oranges and then throw them in the pot

if your shrimp of kinda tough to peel then they were cooked to long

there is really no way to mess a shrimp boil up

whatever cooks the slowest usually goes into the pot first

For 11 grown men i did
8 lbs of shrimp
on full bag of red potatoes, maybe a 5lbs bag
2 things of full mushrooms then cut in half
i think i bought 8 things of Ragin' Cajun Smoked Andouille Sausage (ITS AWESOME)
I had 24 pieces of the cut corn like on the cob but it is in smaller pieces
A full clove of garlic. i peel it and then throw them in
2 full lemons. i slice them, squeeze them in then throw them in to boil
1-2 large bottles of hot sauce of your choice and dump it in the pot to boil with the water
2 bags of boil seasoning
I used about 4-5 gallons of water.

Get the water good and boiling then throw in the potatoes. about 5 minutes later i throw in the corn and mushrooms and sausage. all boils about 25-30 minutes. Last 3 minutes is for the shrimp. That is all they will need.

I boil shrimp for three minutes, thats after the water comes back to a boil when the shrimp are put init. I also DO NOT USE the bag boil, (the junk with all the seeds) i use the powdered stuff. Awesome taste andspicy.
