Ok, I've been camping ever since I was 8 weeks old .... according to mom. A shower while camping was never on my priority list when I was kid but, as I've gotten older I am getting tired of the "______ baths"... warm water and a wash cloth. So, with that being said what is a good portable shower that has good water pressure, easy to heat and pack. Something that everyone has USED because I've read all the reviews and can't make up my mind.

Solar showers work great...in Iraq, never tried them here.

I do have the Coleman "Hot Water On Demand". Next best thing to sliced bread. The shower attachement and hose is optional but not costly.

Great for quick shower or doing dishes.

Selectable water temp...Hot will scald you, cold is whatever your source water is. Rechargeable battery on it lasts quite awhile (needed for the pump). If you have water pressure (hooked up to a faucet), then you dont really need the battery power.

My only issue has been attaching the intake water hose directly to a water jug, especially the collapsibles. The jug design causes the leak, not the intake hose. The hose does not have to be attached to jug, you can drop it in a bucket of water and it will work.

A friend of mine had one that we used on a hunting trip probably 10 years ago and I don't recall at all what kind it was but it worked well enough to get the grime off. Instead of buying the shower frame portion he just bought some pipe and pieced it together with the curtain all the way around. Just got on a lease and am interested in what's out there as well because we have a camping area and camper but no water.

I bought a pump from Bass Pro that works off of either a battery pack (8 D cells) or a plug into a 12v source ( I use my quad) and heat the water in an old turkey fryer...drop the pumps suction end in and its pletty of water and reheating is fast for the next person.
