You may never know which direction they may come from, thats what makes me stay on stand , its happened too many times.

Depends. I hunt a farm that always has human activity (farming, 4wheelers, kids playing, etc...). I don't think wind makes a difference there at all.

Another has very little activity- I bet those deer aren't nearly as desensitized.

I agree somewhat, but deer are very good at picking something out thats a lil out of place. Like human scent being where it normally isnt!
