Should have gotten a 204 upper on my new AR :(...... ammo is cheaper and easier to find :crazy:.... how many times have you heard that?
 
I wish I'd been buying .223 ammo for the last few years (i dont have a .223) so I could sell it at the current premium rate. A man with a pile of extra .223 is sitting on a big stack of bargain chips.

I told a buddy yesterday if I would have known this crap I would have bought a 22-250. :(

No crap, i debated on the 204 upper because i already have a 204. I went with a 223 because i didn't have one and i already load for 204 and 22-250 so i had most ofthe components.
 
Same thing happened in 08, just a different reason behind the panic. Couldn't find an ar or 223 ammo hardly anywhere. I did buy mine from a guy that had a room full of ars and ammo when no one else did. He was a big seller of RRA and sold to alot of police around the country.
 
Lol I bought a tc. Venture in .204 for predator hunting only and I haven't even got to shoot it yet. $20 a box ain't cheep but at least I can find it on the shelvs. Planning on reloading for it anyways

I haven't had time to work up a load for mine yet but it really likes the factory hornady 45 gr. Soft points
 
I bought to boxes of the 45 gr. and a box o 100 bullets when I bought the gun. If I find a good hand load it likes I'll share it with ya.
