New to forum and to turkey hunting. Always deer hunted but have started seeing alot of birds. Read info on types of guns but wondered about barrel length. Other than a little added weight are their any disadvantages to a longer barrell.

Not really
I have two 870's
one with a 23" barrell and the other has a 26"
They both pattern about the same
