I used Hornady Sst saboted slugs in my 835....I would say a 5" Group or better at 100 yds..... I traded off the 835 & still have 5 boxes of the slugs....
Is that carter county tennessee?

Assuming you have the Rifled Slug Barrel I shoot the same shotgun. Best slug I have found is the Hornady SST 300 grain sabot slug. Cloverleaf groups at 100.

ok. yes its same rifled slug barrel , thats where Ill start. I guess I should try several diff brands.

Shotguns w/rifled barrels are just as finicky as a rifle, and it gets costly in a hurry buying different brands. But, if you want to know what shoots the best out of your gun........it is a necessary evil.
I have literally spent hundreds if not a grand on different slugs of my 4 slug rigs I own. And only 2 of them liked the same slug.........lol.
