Shotgun question.

I'm getting ready to order a red dot scope for my 835 shotgun and I know it will cause me to raise my head to be able to use it.

I've seen people have something on their stocks that adds buck to it and their check is on there while they are shooting with a red dot scope on their shotguns.

What are they and where do I find some?

they're called cheek pads and availiable at most gun shops

Since they are almost NON-existant now.
I'm looking into reloading my own 16GA shells and getting all the info I can on cost and component availability.
I can find everything EXCEPT Powder.
What I'm looking for is ANY of the below types:

Alliant Green Dot
Hodgdon HS-6
Hodgdon Universal
IMR 800-X
IMR SR-4756
IMR SR-7625

I'll be reloading a BUNCH of #7.5 & #8 shot
Maybe a case of #4 and #6 shot
I sure would appreciate it if anybody could steer me to a supplier of any of these powders.

Are you talking about beartooth comb raising kits? I have used them on rifles. They work really well.

a knock off of the original made-in USA Eagle stock pack. I've got them on all my rifles and my sp-10 shotgun. The moleskin against your cheek provides for a soft, but non-slip cheek weld. plus the pouch and room for extra ammo is nice

I bought something like that. If I need to raise my head more then I can put some foam under it to bring it up some more.
