Shotgun for coyotes

I don't , but the new edition of Outdoor life I think had a article about a choke you could buy that had a 30 in. group at 80 yds. Dang, if that's true I could use one for sure.
 
If you're hunting cover with two people, it's very effective for one hunter to use a shotgun. I almost had a yote run over me last year inside 15 yds. They can close the distance quick in cover.
 
Hevi shot, or copper plated 4's. We shoot a lot of foxes and bobcats with shotguns back in the late 80's (before the yote influx) with 4 shot. Deadly to 40 yrds on fox, but yotes are a lot tougher for sure so I think 30 yards and in.
 
Remington HD's (or hevi-shot) in 2, BB, T are great. T is the largest you can shoot for coyote legally in TN. Lead BB's are the smallest lead I would shoot. I have killed one with lead #4's past the 40yd mark and I wouldn't recommend it, follow ups were required. See what your gun patterns best!
