me and Alan were shooting the new steel at 1,000 yards this evening,,the new 10 inch gong will make you work for hits but after Alan got his WSM lined in he was knocking the crap out of it with the 215 Hybirds,,I put a couple 300 OTMs on it with the TRG42 338 LM,,then I got my 6.5x47 out set up with a set of very good match sights shooting the 130 VLD, I started on the 30 inch gong and was way high 1st shot and dialed down 7 clix and with Alan on his Mark 4 spotter said I was level about 6 inches right so I dialed in 2 clix,a half minute left and told him I was gonna try the 10 inch gong for kicks and believe it or not I put a 130 VLD on that 10 inch gong at 1,000 yards with sights,,,I shot 3-4 more times and hit all around it but didnt hit it twice but thats a start for the first time I tried it,,
shooting those sights is a blast but you have to have somebody on a good spotter,,

rifle is a 700 Rem PSS with Gre-tan bolt,,Claunch Custom 6.5x47L 5R 8 twist Bartlien with PNW/Gehmann rear sight and Mo`s/Gehmann front sight in AICS 1.5 with 10 round magazine and Atlas spigot mount bipod shooting 130 VLDs at 2950,

Good shootin today for sure. With sun just right you could watch them all the way in. Half a minute to the left :party:
